Professional arts training in Laos is provided by the National Faculty of Fine Arts and the National School of Music and Dance, which share a campus at Ban Phonpapao on the north east outskirts of Vientiane. Training in print and broadcast journalism is provided by the National Mass Media Training Centre, located at Ban Simuang in central Vientiane. The National Faculty of Fine Arts has two branch secondary schools at Luang Prabang and Savannakhet respectively.
