The Cabinet of the Ministry of Commerce is responsible for: implementing all secretariat work on behalf of the Minister of Commerce; researching and studying Party policies and rules and regulations of the government and ensuring that they are correctly adhered to in the field of commerce; researching, criticising and identifying statistical data on trade and collecting information to help the Minister and Deputy Ministers in both short term and long term planning; drafting rules and regulations on trade by co-operating with concerned departments and submitting proposals to decision makers; implementing works which relate to the Ministry; managing the real estate, vehicles and materials of the Ministry; and co-ordinating with other ministries, with provincial offices of trade, with government agencies working in the field of economics and trade and with international organisations in terms of technical assistance, training, workshop and other activities.
