Launched in 1994 but in abeyance since 2002 due to lack of funds, Xao Ban Journal features articles on the work of the Non Formal Education Development Centre in supporting basic education for people in remote areas. 500 copies were printed each month and distributed in Savannakhet, Khammouane and Borikhamxai Provinces.
