The Department of Asia, Pacific and Africa is one of the political departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and isresponsible to the Minister for bilateral relations with Asian, Pacific and African countries, implementing the foreign policy of its government and managing its international relations in order to promote and enhance all spheres of bilateral, political and socio-economic relations and co-operation between Laos and the countries of the Asian and African continents.
