The Department of Organisation and Personnal of the Prime Minister's Office is responsible for: (i) assisting the Minister in studying the issues of organisation, mechanism and Party personnel affairs in the Prime Minister's Office; (ii) contacting and co-ordinating with services relating to organisation affairs to study the political, ideological and organisational aspects of personnel training and management and controlling the list of personnel as well as their positions, ranks and levels of their salaries within the Prime Minister's Office; (iii) monitoring and making comments on posting, promotion, awards and disciplinary actions taken against personnel in the Prime Minister's Office; (iv) assisting the Minister in learning the general situation of ideological, political and organisational affairs for the benefit of improving the organisation and operation of the Office to increase the level of work effectiveness; and (v) where necessary to convene meetings of those who are responsible for the personnel issues in the various sectors of the office.
