Originating as the Income Generating Activities project with sponsorship and assistance from JICA and the UNDP, this venture became the Handicraft Ban Dok Fai Group in October 2004 after the original project had been completed. Now an enterprise of Oudomxai Provincial Service of Industry and Handicrafts, it the sells handbags, blankets, Lao skirts and decorative items with the aim of providing a livelihood to local villages.
