The Department of Entertainment of Lao National Television (LNTV) is responsible for producing home-grown and rebroadcasted light entertainment programmes in three main areas - sports programmes, including football, boxing, muay Lao and aerobics; children's programmes such as cartoons, science programmes and world stories; and arts programmes such as international and Lao music, dance, drama and film, game shows, variety programmes and chat shows.
