![]() In Slovenia freedom of expression, speech and public appearance of the press and other media and forms of expression are guaranteed by the Constitution. With a population of less than 2 million, Slovenia has around 1,200 different media entities, including 968 printed publications with a total circulation of around 6 million. The media sector falls within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture, the website of which includes a regularly updated register of all Slovene media.
