Located on a high hill 30 kilometres north of Quy Nhơn in Nhơn Thân commune, An Nhơn District, the Phước Lốc or ‘Gold’ Tower (also known locally as Thốc Lốc Tower) was constructed in monumental Bình Định style (late 11th-early 14th centuries) in the late 12th-early 13th century, contemporaneously with the similar Cánh Tiên (Brass) Chàm Tower and Thủ Thiện Tower. The east-facing tower is square in shape and features decorated pilasters and false doors. Unfortunately the structure is in poor condition but nonetheless incorporates some notable decorative features, including the use of stone, which suggests strong Khmer influence.
