Located some 65 kilometres south of Phan Rang-Tháp Chăm and built unusually facing west on the side of Ông Xiêm Mountain (rather than facing east on its summit as one might expect), the Pô Đam group comprises three towers which are remarkable because of their diminutive size. Believed to date from the late 8th and early 9th centuries and classified architecturally as being of the Hòa Lai style, the structures represent one of the earliest periods of Chăm architecture, though today they are all in poor condition with the roof of one in imminent danger of collapse. Various linga-yoni recovered from the buildings have been set in a concrete plinth nearby for security purposes. A local legend holds that the Pô Đam Towers were constructed by Prince Pô Đam in a contest with King Pô Klông Garai to see who could build the first temple, a contest in which Pô Klông Garai emerged as the winner (see also Pô Klông Garai Towers). The site is located right next to the main north-south railway line two kilometres north of Sông Lòng Sông Railway Station, but is accessed via a six kilometre dirt track which leads eastward from Highway 1, two kilometres north of Liên Hương crossroads. Please note that since reaching the site involves crossing the main railway line all visitors are required first to seek permission from the People's Committee (Ủy ban Nhân dân) of Phú Lạc Hamlet (Xã Phú Lạc), which is located two kilometres east of Liên Hương crossroads.
