Hoa Lai Tower 1 (Tim Doling)
Located 14 kilometres north of Phan Rang-Tháp Chăm, right next to the main north-south Highway 1, the Hòa Lai group is believed to have been constructed during the early 9th century and originally comprised three towers, though the central tower was destroyed during the American War. Of the two remaining towers, the north tower has survived relatively intact and is notable for its decorative patterns and motifs. The south tower displays a simpler design and is in relatively poor condition. Overall the architectural design of the complex is typical of the eponymous Hòa Lai style of the 8th and 9th centuries.
