 Việt Nam’s largest theatre was constructed with Soviet aid and opened in 1985. Notable for its main auditorium’s revolving stage, it runs an active in-house programme of large-scale performances by both local and overseas artists. The Mini-Stage is home to one of Hồ Chí Minh City’s popular small-scale drama companies, the Hòa Bình Mini Stage Company, but also stages puppet shows, fashion shows and other promotions.
