The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia has been active in overseas promotion of the traditional arts, and many delegations have gone on tour in the last few years. Through the efforts of resident embassies and not-for-profit organisations, various foreign artists have also visited Cambodia, mainly to Phnom Penh but also, in the case of archaelogy and traditional crafts, to Siem Reap. In particular, there have been some meaningful Asia-to-Asia exchanges.
