Campus 2 of the Royal University of Phnom Penh was built by the Vietnamese during the 1980s. At the centre of the campus is this small multi-purpose auditorium. Rows of windows on either side of the auditorium preclude total blackout even when curtains are drawn.

Type of venue: multi-purpose auditorium; main use: meetings, lectures, graduation ceremonies and performances; seating: 650 seats total (400 stalls, 150 circle); proscenium opening: 12m W x 6.5m H; performing area: 12m W x 4.7m D x 6.5m H to grid plus 2.5m D apron in front of proscenium; wIng spaces: 2m SR, 2m SL; suspension equipment: 2 fixed lighting bars over stage, 1 fixed lighting bar over auditorium; soft hangings: maroon legs and borders; lighting and sound: no installed equipment; film: 16mm and 35mm projectors (unused for many years), no screen; other equipment: lectern; backstage: 3 dressing rooms at stage level plus 1 additional room above stage accommodating 30 persons total; climate control: not air-conditioned but fans installed; availability: available for straight hire
