 Housed in the former residence of Prince Asaka Yasuhiko, uncle of Emperor Hirohito, this municipal museum is a masterpiece of 1930s art deco style containing period decor and furnishings designed by French artists such as Henry Rapan and René Lalique. It regularly organises special exhibitions ranging from modern to contemporary arts and crafts.
