This municipal museum focuses on the life and times of feudal daimyo Maeda Toshimasa (1578-1633), second son of Lord Maeda Toshiie and his wife Matsu. It houses over 9,300 items of historical importance handed down from generation to generation within the Maeda Tosanokami family, including arms, arts and crafts, and letters written by Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Matsu. There is also a room that enables visitors to appreciate a view of the garden and a room that introduces information about Kanazawa.
