 Located in the city's 'Archaic' region, Amagasaki Cultural Centre is a multi-purpose venue which incorporates several different types of auditorium. Built in 1982, the main Archaic Hall is the home of Kansai District's most prominent opera company. It has 1,820 seats and is used mainly for orchestral and operatic performances. Archaic Hall OCT, built in 1993 and attached to the main building, is capable of changing the configurations of the stage and audience seating under computer control and is suitable for many different activities including concerts, plays, fashion shows and exhibitions. Archaic Hall Mini hosts smaller-scale events.Archaic Hall
