The Committee for Propaganda and Training of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) is responsible on behalf of the Central Committee for all propaganda and training work, including describing and explaining government policy and undertaking training and education in the field of ideology and politics. The Committee develops the curriculum for Marxist-Leninist studies in schools and institutes and is responsible for training and nurturing party members in mass organisations and in provinces, districts and villages around the country. It co-operates with all concerned agencies in the field of culture, providing guidance in all media coverage, following domestic and foreign news coverage of the Party and country and where necessary formulating responses to news items. The Committee publishes two magazines:
