IFPI NorwayFounded in 1939, IFPI Norway is an association for the Norwegian record industry. Its members are Norwegian subsidiaries of international record-companies, as well as some native Norwegian record companies. IFPI Norway works closely with FONO - Norwegian Independent Record Producers Association, the organisation for smaller, Norwegian record-companies.
The members of IFPI Norway represent 90-95% of all records sold in Norway, of which about half of the records sold are Norwegian repertoire. IFPI Norway is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
