Erlend Øye, one half of the acoustic duo Kings of Convenience, established a separate career as a DJ and performer, based out of Berlin, Germany with his album Unrest (2003) on Source/Virgin. In 2004 Øye was chosen by the !K7 label to mix their latest record in the DJ Kicks series. An America tour followed, and Øye continues to tour world wide in his own right, while working with his KoC colleague Eirik Glambek Bøe.
