 The Quart Festival is the largest rock festival in Norway with an annual attendance of over 60,000. It programmes a mix of international acts and up-and-coming Norwegian bands in a variety of genres including rock, metal, R&B, electronica and hip-hop. Previous acts have included Morrissey and The Who from the UK, The Hives from Sweden and The Black Eyed Peas from the US. There are four open air stages around the city including the Salamanderparken (Lizard Park) and a number of more intimate club venues. |
