The Norwegian Accordion Musicians Association was founded in 1972 and aims to promote accordion music nationwide. Today it has 3,500 members in all 19 counties. The Association works to meet the needs of its members, organising courses, seminars and championships. It also publishes Trekkspill (‘Accordion’), a publication of 300 pages distributed to its members five times per annum.
