Oslo Spektrum offers a complete package of space and service, situated close to the Plaza Hotel in central Oslo. The Arena offers a wide range of choices as to the physical set-up of individual events. Oslo Spektrum is a multipurpose venue which has been used for concerts with an arena capacity of 10.000, conferences and congresses with a capacity of 1,500-8,500, and trade shows with a floor area of 3,290m². Air-conditioned and heated, available for hire.
Spektrum Arena
Seating: c 8,500 seats total comprising 3,700 fixed seats (on three sides), 4,000 bleacher seats (movable for use on four sides) and 700 standard removable seats (arena floor), plus 13 VIP boxes seating 12 persons each; performing area: raised open stage, max size 68m W x 22m D x 20m H to grid comprising individual 2.44m x 1.22m units with height variable from 1.2-1.8m, get-in via 45m W x 18m H backstage access door, trucks can drive directly into arena; suspension equipment: 60 movable point hoists, max load max 500kg each, 12 movable cranes, max load 2,000kg each, 48m x 53m grid with max load 1 metric ton every 4m and six movable catwalks for direct rigging; soft hangings: grey fibreglass drapes; lighting: Philips sports lighting, 350 x 5kw dimmers; sound: Meyer PA system; stage equipment: 2 Panasonic Astrovision LCD boards; backstage: 9 dressing rooms, 1 large catering area and 790m² Blue Room accommodating over 500 persons total
