The principal library of Dumfries and Galloway, the Ewart Library offers a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, plus large print books, talking books, videos, DVDs, music CDs and playstation games for loan; a reference and information service; community information and quick reference material; free use of computers with access to the Internet, Microsoft Office and E-mail software; a range of daily and weekly newspapers and magazines; and photocopier and fax for public use.
Special events include Rhyme Time and Baby Rhyme Time alternate weeks at 10am-10.30am on Wednesday; Saturday Stories at 11am-11.30am every Saturday.
The Ewart Library, Dumfries is part of the Scottish Parliament Partner Library Network.
