Slovenia's library network incorporates the National and University Library (NUK), three university libraries and a further 51 academic or faculty libraries, 138 special libraries, 61 public libraries with 283 branches and nine mobile library services, and 700 school libraries. Efforts are currently focused on meeting the needs of users in the digital age.
