The Association of Slovene Film Producers is organised as an economic interest grouping (gospodarsko interesno združenje, GIZ). Grouping together 17 Slovene film producers, the Association critically monitors legislation related to the film industry and its representatives propose changes and discuss them with the Ministry of Culture and the Slovene Film Fund. The Association aims to spread information on international co-operation and to assist in its implementation.
