This foundation was established in March 2000 by Dr Bruno Breschi from Italy and the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) with the aim of preserving old Slovene literary works. The Dr Bruno Breschi Foundation promotes the evaluation and thorough research of older works from the Slovene literary heritage, maintains traditional cultural values, and promotes the co-existence and understanding of neighbouring nations. In collaboration with the Philology and Literary Departments of ZRC Publishing, the Dr Bruno Breschi Foundation has published three books on Rogerius of Ljubljana (1667-1728).
