The Architects' Society of Ljubljana represents the professional interests of about 370 members, primarily in debates with relevant state and municipal governmental structures. It offers current information about local and international bids, competitions, prizes, educational events and legal advice. The Society has recently launched a project called '20th Century Architectural Heritage' in collaboration with the Trajekt Institution for Urban Culture in order to promote and protect modern monuments.

Since July 2007 the Architects' Society of Ljubljana office has also functioned as the headquarters of the revived Union of Slovene Architects' Societies.
