The National Commission for Music Education is a part of the Ministry of Education and Sport. The Commission for Music and Ballet Competitions (TEMSIG) organises competitions for young musicians and ballet dancers, sets criteria for work in music education and criteria for stipends, gives proposals to both ministries and other relevant organisations and co-operates with European working groups and the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth.
