Established in 1999 by Miloš Florjančič, A.biro initially comprised a team of three architects (Florijančič, Blenkuš and Fischer Knap), later increasing to five five. Since 2004 Florjančič and Blenkuš have worked together with three graduates of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana - Nataša Slokar, Blaž Rupar and Tina Kobe. A.biro engages in all kind of projects, urban planning excluded. The team engages in around 15-20 architectural projects annually, carrying out projects around Slovenia, from Maribor to the coast. Its most significant projects include the 'Chinese Wall' Hotel Park Restaurant adaptation, the interior of Glass Gallery Glezia, the Jakopič Gallery adaptation, Family House F, Family House H, Bovška hiša, Ljubljana Bus Station and the New Sarabon car park. One of its projects - the Šmartinka Multipurpose Building - has been featured in the Pahidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture.
