MultiPlan Architects studio was founded in 1999 by Aleš Žnidaršič and Katja Žlajpah. Aleš Žnidaršič obtained a BA from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana in 1997 and subsequently acquired working practice at the Christos Papoulias architects' office in Athens and the Yves Lion architects' office in Paris. From 1999-2002 he was an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. Since 2002 he has been a project engineer with a state certificate of engineering. Katja Žlajpah acquired her BA at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana in 1998, since which time she has been a freelance creator in the field of culture.
Recent MultiPlan architectural projects include: the Copyright Agency in Ljubljana, Penthouse 93, Ljubljana and Skalinada house in Omišalj, Croatia (2004); Housing Brdo (2005); and Nazorjev trg in Koper (2005), More recent projects include a pavilion for the KRKA Pharmaceutical House in Novo mesto, Vergerijev trg in Koper, Muzejski trg in Koper, the White and Green Serpentines in Ankaran, the Katarina House at Topol above Ljubljana, Different Story in Bohinj, the OB POTI residence in Grba, Ljubljana, the Zagorje ob Savi Swimming Pool, Skopje City Hall, Macedonia, Bohinjska Bela Apartments near Bled, and Vergerijev trg (2nd stage) in Koper. The company was nominated for Best Interior of the Year at the 2007 Slovene Month of Design.
