Perth Theatre is a traditional Victorian playhouse opened in 1901 and extended in 1991.
Along with Perth Concert Hall, it is managed and has recently been completely refurbished by Horsecross, a multi-million pound arts and events enterprise. It describes its areas of operation as the three C's - culture, conferences and community - and its approach as 'mainstream with an edge'. It promotes new work, new groups and new ideas and aims to programme festivals and celebrations across both venues.
